HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1 | Purchase our essential DIY will on the link above. When you click on the link above, you will be taken to a payment link. Once you purchase this will, you will receive an email containing our estate planning tool kit, and a link to a form to enter your information.
Step 2 | Establish your estate planning goals. A simple will is often direct, and straight forward. Still, you should consider carefully your goals concerning your estate (i.e. taking care of family, distributing assets). Use our estate planning guide to help you set your goals.
Step 3 | Take inventory of your assets. As mentioned above, a DIY will is often simple in nature. But it still helps if you take inventory of your assets and the individuals you want to be involved with your estate. When you purchase this product, you will have access to a PDF worksheet to help with this step.
Step 4 | Complete our "DIY Will Form" This form will be emailed to you. The form will ask you for your contact information, whether you have minor children you want to plan for, who you want to be the executor of your estate, etc. The form filling process is self-guided, but please reach out if you have any questions.
Step 5 | Attorney reviews and drafts your will. The easiest step in the process, our team reviews your information and drafts a last will and testament for you. We will then schedule a zoom meeting to cover the basic.
Step 6 | Review and sign your will - including witnesses or notary During our final meeting, we will make sure the draft will covers all the essentials important to you. Once complete, a copy of your last will and testament will be emailed to you. The final step is having your will notarized or signed by two witnesses. You should not sign the will until you do so in the presence of witnesses or a notary.
